In response to Cudeca\u2019s call for help to finance replacement of items over 10 years of age in the In-Patient Unit, Age Care Association<\/a><\/strong> responded with a generous donation of 20,000\u20ac to cover the replacement cost of a new alarm system and bed lights.<\/div>\n
Joan Hunt OBE<\/strong>, the Founder of Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice, together with Marisa Martin<\/strong>, Chief Executive & Medical Director; and Susan Hannam<\/strong>, Vice President, were delighted to present a plaque to Sydney Weldon<\/strong>, President of Age Care Association<\/a> of volunteers, in gratitude for this magnificent donation.<\/div>\n
During the visit, in addition to the previous generous donation, Sydney Weldon handed Joan Hunt a further cheque for 5,000\u20ac donation towards patient care expenses.<\/div>\n
On behalf of Cudeca, Joan expressed her sincere gratitude for the generosity of the Age Care volunteers, and her admiration for the great support that the Age Care volunteers are giving to many people who now find themselves in need of help.\u00a0
