{"id":16377,"date":"2015-11-10T18:45:02","date_gmt":"2015-11-10T18:45:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/actualidad\/joan-hunt-obe-receives-award-from-la-opinion-de-malaga-newspaper\/"},"modified":"2015-11-10T18:45:02","modified_gmt":"2015-11-10T18:45:02","slug":"joan-hunt-obe-receives-award-from-la-opinion-de-malaga-newspaper","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/en\/actualidad\/joan-hunt-obe-receives-award-from-la-opinion-de-malaga-newspaper\/","title":{"rendered":"Joan Hunt OBE receives award from La Opinion de Malaga newspaper"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"notCuerpo\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">On 28th October, <strong>Opini\u00f3n de M\u00e1laga<\/strong> celebrated in Restaurante Limonar 40 a gala of award giving &#8211; <strong>\u00a0&#8220;Premios M\u00e1laga 2015&#8221;<\/strong> &#8211; \u00a0in recognition of the contribution to progress and development which the award winners have made in the Province of M\u00e1laga.\u00a0<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  <strong>Joan Hunt OBE<\/strong>, Founder and Honorary President of Cudeca Hospice \u2013 Cancer Care received the award <strong>Premio Sociedad 2015<\/strong> for her commitment to the development of the Foundation, from Elias Bendodo, President of the Diputaci\u00f3n de M\u00e1laga. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>  The gala was attended by personalities from the M\u00e1laga business and cultural world, representatives of institutions and political parties, namely the Mayor of M\u00e1laga, Francisco de la Torre; Councillor for Education of the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda, Adelaide de la Calle; First Vice President of the Congress of Deputies, Celia Villalobos; the President of the Provincial Deputation of M\u00e1laga, Elias Bendodo; and the Delegate of the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda, Jos\u00e9 Luis Ruiz Espejo.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>  The Business Award 2015 was presented by the Subdirector of General Management, Aurelio Romero to Federico Beltr\u00e1n and his company Famadesa for the development of his business group formed 45 years ago in Campa\u00f1illas.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>  Sergio Scariolo received the Sports Award 2015 from the Director of Opini\u00f3n de M\u00e1laga, Juan de Mellado, for his magnificent development of the Spanish basketball team as well as with his Foundation &#8220;Cesare Scariolo&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>  Salva Reina, winner of the &#8220;Biznaga de Plata&#8221; to the best actor in the XVII Festival of M\u00e1laga Spanish Cinema, received the Cultural Award 2015 from the Councillor of Education of the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda, Adelaida de la Calle. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>  The Torremolinos Town Hall won the Tourism Award 2015 for being the leader in tourism year after year on the Costa del Sol and Andaluc\u00eda. \u00a0The Mayor of Torremolinos, Jos\u00e9 Ortiz, received the award from the Mayor of M\u00e1laga, Francisco de la Torre. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>  \u00a0The Gala was lead by Domi del Postigo, Ambassador for Cudeca Foundation and feature writer for the newspaper. \u00a0The awards were made by sculptor Juan Vega.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>  \u00a0<br \/>  \u00a0<\/div><\/div>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 28th October, Opini\u00f3n de M\u00e1laga celebrated in Restaurante Limonar 40 a gala of award giving &#8211; \u00a0&#8220;Premios M\u00e1laga 2015&#8221; &#8211; \u00a0in recognition of the contribution to progress and development which the award winners have made in the Province of M\u00e1laga.\u00a0 \u00a0 Joan Hunt OBE, Founder and Honorary President of Cudeca Hospice \u2013 Cancer Care [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[15],"tags":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.4 -
