{"id":16349,"date":"2015-07-01T18:39:43","date_gmt":"2015-07-01T18:39:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/actualidad\/inauguration-of-the-new-cudeca-hospice-charity-shop-in-mlaga\/"},"modified":"2015-07-01T18:39:43","modified_gmt":"2015-07-01T18:39:43","slug":"inauguration-of-the-new-cudeca-hospice-charity-shop-in-mlaga","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/en\/actualidad\/inauguration-of-the-new-cudeca-hospice-charity-shop-in-mlaga\/","title":{"rendered":"Inauguration of the new Cudeca Hospice Charity Shop in M&#225;laga"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"notCuerpo\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">On Wednesday 1st July, the <strong>Cudeca Hospice<\/strong> opened their new <strong>Charity Shop in M\u00e1laga<\/strong>, located at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.es\/maps\/place\/Plaza+Mar%C3%ADa+Guerrero,+6,+29012+M%C3%A1laga\/@36.7226819,-4.417334,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0xd72f7c0111503a9:0x718126bb51cd6bdd\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Plaza Mar\u00eda Guerrero<\/strong>, n\u00ba 6<\/a> (next to Plaza de la Merced).<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">  Attending were: <strong>Jos\u00e9 Lu\u00eds Ru\u00edz<\/strong>, Delegate of the Andalusian Government; <strong>Ana Carmen Mata<\/strong>, Third Vice President of the M\u00e1laga Province Diputation; and from the M\u00e1laga Town Hall, <strong>Gemma del Corral<\/strong>, Vice-Mayor of Culture, Education and Youth; <strong>Ruth Sarabia<\/strong>, General Director of Social Rights, Citizen Participation, Immigration and Cooperation toward Development; and <strong>Estefan\u00eda Mart\u00edn<\/strong>, Councillor of the Socialist Group; and from Fundaci\u00f3n Cudeca,\u00a0 <strong>Marisa Mart\u00edn<\/strong>, Chief Executive and Medical Director; y <strong>Rafael Olalla<\/strong>, Deputy Chief Executive-Financial.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">  The <strong>Cudeca Charity Shops<\/strong>, manned by groups of volunteers, constitute of the most important source of financing for the foundation.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  <strong>More than 550 volunteers<\/strong> help our Charity Shops each year receiving and classifying the donations of clothes, hand bags, accessories, shoes, household goods, books, children\u00b4s clothes and much more, they then put them up for sale at a special Charity price, that can then be reused for another person.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">  <strong>Each donation or purchase that you make at our Charity Shops<\/strong> helps Cudeca to continue caring for people with cancer and other advanced, incurable illnesses , and provide support to their families.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">  All of the income from the Charity Shops will be earmarked to cover the costs of the Assistential Programs of Cudeca Hospice, who each year assist <strong>more than 900 people<\/strong> with Cancer and other non-curable illnesses in an advanced stage as well as offering support to their families.
