Foundation  always with Cudeca Hospice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"notCuerpo\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">Last Friday, March 27th, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fundacionlagrimasyfavores.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>\u201cL\u00e1grimas y Favores\u201d Foundation<\/strong><\/a>, chaired by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/AntonioBanderas\" target=\"_blank\">Antonio Banderas<\/a><\/strong>, handed over a gift cheque to the Cudeca Hospice &#8211; Cancer Care Foundation during a gala dinner organised by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elcorteingles.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">El Corte Ingl\u00e9s<\/a> at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.malaga.es\" target=\"_blank\">Diputaci\u00f3n de M\u00e1laga<\/a> (Provincial Government).<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  <strong>Antonio Banderas <\/strong>himself gave <strong>Dr. Marisa Mart\u00edn<\/strong>, Cudeca Hospice&#039;s CEO and Medical Director, a cheque for \u20ac25,000, which shall be used to continue giving life to the days of over 900 patients with cancer and other advanced or terminal diseases through the multidisciplinary programmes: Home Care, Out \u2013patient clinics, Counselling service, Day Care, Psychological an Social care, Day\u00a0 centre &amp; \u00a0Rehabilitation unit, and In-patient unit. \u00a0<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uma.es\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>University of Malaga<\/strong><\/a>, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.caritasmalaga.es\" target=\"_blank\">Caritas<\/a><\/strong> and the <strong>Corinto Foundation<\/strong> also received considerable donations throughout 2014 from the L\u00e1grimas y Favores Foundation&#039;s solidarity projects.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  Numerous celebrities from Malaga&#039;s society joined us for this key event: Malaga&#039;s Lord Mayor, <strong>Francisco de la Torre<\/strong>; President <strong>El\u00edas Bendodo<\/strong>, Vice-President <strong>Ana Mata, Emiliana Jim\u00e9nez<\/strong>, parlamentarian in charge of Specialised Help Centres and <strong>Jes\u00fas Fortes<\/strong>, delegated parlamentarian for Human Resources, on behalf of the Provincial Government; Chancellor <strong>Adelaida de la Calle <\/strong>and Vice-Chancellor <strong>Carlos de las Heras<\/strong>, on behalf of the University of Malaga; <strong>Juan Manuel Moren<\/strong>o, Chairman of the People&#039;s Party of Andalusia; <strong>Jos\u00e9 Lu\u00eds Ru\u00edz<\/strong>, Central Government Representative for Andalusia.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  The Tears and Favours Foundation were represented by their Chairman, <strong>Antonio Banderas<\/strong>, Vice-Chairman <strong>Eduardo Rosel<\/strong>l, their Treasurer, <strong>Javier Banderas<\/strong> and patrons.\u00a0<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  <strong>Marisa Mart\u00edn<\/strong>, CEO &amp; Medical Director and Communications &amp; Fundraising Manager, <strong>Roc\u00edo Torres<\/strong>, attended on behalf of the Cudeca Foundation, as well as Cudeca Ambassadors <a href=\"http:\/\/www.domidelpostigo.es\" target=\"_blank\">D<strong>omi del Postigo <\/strong><\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/remedioscervantesoficia\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Remedios Cervantes<\/strong><\/a>, who also doubled as master of ceremonies; <strong>Baroness Carmen Thyssen<\/strong>; <strong>Sandra Garc\u00eda-Sanju\u00e1n<\/strong>, founder of the Starlite Gala; <strong>Paulino Plata<\/strong>, Chairman of the Port Authority and Counsellor for Culture; <strong>Antonio Pulido<\/strong>, Chairman of the Cajasol Foundation; the Director for External Relations of El Corte Ingl\u00e9s M\u00e1laga, <strong>Eduardo Barrero<\/strong>; holders of 7 Michelin Stars (<strong>Jordi Roca<\/strong>, <strong>David Mu\u00f1oz, Diego Guerrero and Andrea Tumbarello<\/strong>); Malaga artists of the stature of <strong>Antonio Cort\u00e9s<\/strong>; and many more friends and collaborators\u2026<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  The <strong>\u201cL\u00e1grimas y Favores\u201d Foundation<\/strong> was founded in 2010 for the dedicating its fullest efforts in collaborating with the University of Malaga and the Cudeca Hospice &#8211;
