{"id":16263,"date":"2014-04-15T18:27:11","date_gmt":"2014-04-15T18:27:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/actualidad\/la-cala-lions-club-always-with-cudeca-hospice\/"},"modified":"2014-04-15T18:27:11","modified_gmt":"2014-04-15T18:27:11","slug":"la-cala-lions-club-always-with-cudeca-hospice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/en\/actualidad\/la-cala-lions-club-always-with-cudeca-hospice\/","title":{"rendered":"La Cala Lions Club always with Cudeca Hospice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"notCuerpo\">\n<div>On 15th April, <strong>Mr Rowland Owens<\/strong>, treasurer of<strong> La Cala Lions Club <\/strong>and on behalf of them, visited the <strong>Cudeca Centre <\/strong>in Benalm\u00e1dena to present a <strong>generous cheque <\/strong>to replace some equipment in the In-Pacient Unit.<\/p>\n<p>  The <strong>cheque of \u20ac2.262,47 <\/strong>will be used <strong>to replace the pillows and pillow cases(\u20ac434,87), staff uniforms (\u20ac1500) and Light regulators (\u20ac327).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>  On behalf of <strong>Cudeca Hospice, Joan Hunt, President and Founder<\/strong>, was delighted to receive this cheque which will help the Hospice continue providing the Special Kind of Caring to patients suffering from cancer and other advanced and non-curable illnesses, apart from providing support to their families.<\/p>\n<p>  <strong>The Mijas La Cala Lions <\/strong>have supported Cudeca for many years and believe that it is truly a cause that lies close to the heart of anyone, who has lost a loved one to cancer.
