{"id":16137,"date":"2012-09-07T18:00:38","date_gmt":"2012-09-07T18:00:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/actualidad\/cudeca-recruitment-campaign-for-patient-transport-volunteers\/"},"modified":"2012-09-07T18:00:38","modified_gmt":"2012-09-07T18:00:38","slug":"cudeca-recruitment-campaign-for-patient-transport-volunteers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/en\/cudeca-recruitment-campaign-for-patient-transport-volunteers\/","title":{"rendered":"[:en]CUDECA RECRUITMENT CAMPAIGN FOR PATIENT TRANSPORT VOLUNTEERS[:]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[:en]<\/p>\n<div id=\"notCuerpo\">\n<div style=\"text-align: justify\">  \t<strong style=\"color: #3a9b3e\">Cudeca Hospice<\/strong> is very short of Patient Transport Volunteers so we are running a <strong style=\"color: #3a9b3e\">Recruitment Campaign<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>  \t<strong style=\"color: #3a9b3e\">Patient Transport Volunteers<\/strong> help Cudeca by driving patients to the Day Centre located at our Hospice in Arroyo de la Miel.\u00a0 Volunteers drive their own car (fuel expenses paid)\u00a0 from the patient\u2019s house to Cudeca and when the activities of the Day Centre have finished, they drive them back to their house.\u00a0 Patients are normally brought to the Centre between 9.30am to 10am and taken home at around 1pm to 1.30pm<\/p>\n<p>  \tSometimes volunteers drive patients to their Hospital appointments.<\/p>\n<p>  \tVolunteers attend a specialised training course to prepare them for their volunteer work.\u00a0 They will learn about different aspects of Palliative Care, communication and also mobilisation of the patients.<\/p>\n<p>  \tFor those interested in becoming a Patient Transport Volunteer, please contact the Volunteer Department on 952 56 49 10 or email voluntariado@cudeca.org\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>  \tBecause we are urgently in need of volunteers for this special area of Cudeca care, your co-operation with the campaign will be truly appreciated, as we have patients now, waiting to be brought into the Day Care Centre to benefit from the various therapies, rehabilitation etc.<br \/>  \t\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>[:]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[:en] Cudeca Hospice is very short of Patient Transport Volunteers so we are running a Recruitment Campaign.
