{"id":16116,"date":"2012-03-06T18:00:03","date_gmt":"2012-03-06T18:00:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/actualidad\/cudeca-inaugurates-the-new-local-for-the-charity-shop-in-el-palo\/"},"modified":"2012-03-06T18:00:03","modified_gmt":"2012-03-06T18:00:03","slug":"cudeca-inaugurates-the-new-local-for-the-charity-shop-in-el-palo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/en\/actualidad\/cudeca-inaugurates-the-new-local-for-the-charity-shop-in-el-palo\/","title":{"rendered":"Cudeca inaugurates the new local for the charity shop in El Palo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"notCuerpo\">\n<div>  \tBenalm\u00e1dena, 2nd March 2012<\/div>\n<div>  \tOn 1st March, Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice celebrated the opening of the new local for the Cudeca Charity Shop in el Palo, at 13:00h, on Calle Escultor Paco Palma n\u00ba1, El Palo in M\u00e1laga.<\/div>\n<div>  \t\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>  \tAttending the opening was the Social Rights Councillor, Francisco Pomares; the Eastern District Councillor, Carmen Casero, the Eastern District Director, Almudena Ramos, and on behalf of Cudeca, Founder and President, Joan Hunt OBE; Chief Executive and Medical Director, Marisa Martin; Deputy Chief Executive-Financial Director, Rafael Olalla, and the charity shops Coordinator, Katie O&#039;Neill.<\/div>\n<div>  \t\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>  \tThe new location of the el Palo charity shop is in a better and busier location, opposite the El Palo Shop and the Bus Stop n\u00ba11 and very near the El Palo weekly market.\u00a0 It is much larger and more suited to receiving and selling donated goods such as clothing, handbags, accessories, shoes, household items, tools, books, children&#039;s clothing and more.<\/div>\n<div>  \t\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>  \tThe 12 Cudeca charity shops scattered throughout the province of Malaga are managed by teams of volunteers who devote their time to receive, sort and to sell donated items to raise funds for those who need it most.<\/div>\n<div>  \t\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>  \tWith the support of new volunteers, we are able to extend the shop opening hours to include Saturday mornings.
