{"id":16092,"date":"2011-10-13T17:51:29","date_gmt":"2011-10-13T17:51:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/actualidad\/cudeca-represents-spain-together-with-the-san-felipe-neri-of-mlaga-choir-in-the-worldwide-voices-for-hospices-event\/"},"modified":"2011-10-13T17:51:29","modified_gmt":"2011-10-13T17:51:29","slug":"cudeca-represents-spain-together-with-the-san-felipe-neri-of-mlaga-choir-in-the-worldwide-voices-for-hospices-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/en\/actualidad\/cudeca-represents-spain-together-with-the-san-felipe-neri-of-mlaga-choir-in-the-worldwide-voices-for-hospices-event\/","title":{"rendered":"Cudeca represents Spain, together with the San Felipe Neri of M&#225;laga Choir in the worldwide Voices for Hospices Event"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"notCuerpo\">\n<div>  \t<strong>Benalm\u00e1dena, 11th October 2011<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>  \tOn 8th October, the Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice represented Spain, together with the famous Choir San Felipe Neri of Malaga in the Voices for Hospices concert with a Pop Repertoire.<\/div>\n<div>  \t\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>  \tVoices for Hospices is a charity concert held simultaneously around the world on Palliative Care Day, with the objective of raising funds, awareness and ensuring that all people are entitled to receive quality care in the final stage of their lives.<\/div>\n<div>  \t\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>  \tThe motto of the International Palliative Care Day this year is &#8220;A multitude of diseases, many lives, many voices &#8211; Palliative Care.&#8221; A candle lit during the concert, symbolizes all those who have been receiving palliative care and also those who have not been able to have access to it.<\/div>\n<div>  \t\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>  \tWith a full house, the concert was a resounding success and kicked off with a speech from Dr. Alfonso Pinedo, Patron of Cudeca and the Deputy of Provincial Health, Do\u00f1a Mar\u00eda Antigua Escalera, had the honor of concluding the event and presenting the choir with a ceramic gift from the Hospice Centre.
