\tOn the 20th January, a press conference was held at the \u201cClub de Raqueta\u201d in Benalm\u00e1dena to present the II Torneo Padel Charity “Eva Ortega”. This tournament will be held in memory of a player from the club and friend of Cudeca, Eva Ortega and in aid of Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice.<\/div>\n
\t\u00a0<\/div>\n
\tAttending the event were, the Sports Councillor of the Benalm\u00e1dena Town Hall, Manuel Crespo, the manager of the club, Guillermo del Grosso and the Cudeca Communications and Fundraising Manager, Roc\u00edo Torres.<\/div>\n
\t\u00a0<\/div>\n
\tIn this second edition, the categories will be 2\u00aa Women, 3\u00aa Women's and mixed, and will be held on 4th, 5th and 6th February at the renowned Racquet Club of Benalm\u00e1dena. The entry fee for the tournament will be 20 euros per person and there will also be a raffle with interesting prizes and trophies for the winners within the different categories. For more information, those interested parties can contact the club in Benalm\u00e1dena on tel 952 57 68 01 or 618 063 123.<\/div>\n
\t\u00a0<\/div>\n
\tLast year, over 60 playing partners participated in the 1st tournament and managed to raise over 4,600\u20ac to help many of the people of Malaga who need the \u201cSpecial Kind of Caring\u201d Cudeca provides.<\/div>\n
\t\u00a0<\/div>\n
\tThe Cudeca Hospice is sincerely grateful for the unconditional support of the \u201cClub de raqueta\u201d of Benalm\u00e1dena, the local Town Hall, as well as the dedicated group of volunteers who support Cudeca every year.<\/div>\n
\t\u00a0<\/div>\n
\tCudeca Cancer Care Hospice has attended, since 1992, to more than 5,800 patients with advanced cancer and their families via the Home Care, Outpatient and Counselling, Psycho-social Rehabilitation Day Care Centre and In-patient Unit programmes, all free of charge.
