{"id":15861,"date":"2007-10-06T17:09:03","date_gmt":"2007-10-06T17:09:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/actualidad\/voices-for-hospices\/"},"modified":"2007-10-06T17:09:03","modified_gmt":"2007-10-06T17:09:03","slug":"voices-for-hospices","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/en\/actualidad\/voices-for-hospices\/","title":{"rendered":"Voices for Hospices"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"notCuerpo\">\n<table class=\"MsoTableGrid\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\" border=\"1\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\" width=\"576\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"center\"><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"center\"><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Cudeca Hospice join International World Hospice and Palliative Care Concerts ?Voices for Hospices?.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"center\"><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><font size=\"3\">\u00a0<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><font size=\"3\">\u00a0<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">On the 6th October, Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice organised three simultaneous concerts in different towns within the M\u00e1laga province: Estepona, Nerja and Mijas Costa, all with the aim of celebrating the International World Hospice and Palliative Care day. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Thanks to the colaboration and support of the Town Halls in each town and the generosity of each of the musical groups, the province of M\u00e1laga could join forces with the rest of the world in celebrating this very special day. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The day has three aims:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">To increase the availability of Hospice and Palliative Care throughout the world to meet those needs. <\/span>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">To raise awareness of the needs of people living with a terminal illness and their family. <\/span>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">To raise funds for the development of those services around the world. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Special thanks go to the groups taking part in the event, the ?Ensemble Serenta? in Estepona, ?Esc\u00fachala que se va? in Mijas Costa and the Coral Alminares? in Nerja. Each group put on a wonderful concert and were presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>The funds raised at the concerts will help to provide the ?special kind of caring?
