The Ceremony is a Christmas tribute to a loved one by dedicating a light to a special person who has touched your life. Over 100 volunteers and friends of Cudeca attended the event and enjoyed a glass of mulled wine, quiche, cakes and lots of other homemade festive goodies on sale. <\/p>\n<p>Children from the Sunny View School sung traditional english carols and the \u201cCoro de Jubilados\u201d (retired choir from Benalm\u00e1dena) sung typical spanish Villancicos.\u00a0 Following the choir singing and to close a wonderful evening, Joan Hunt, President and Founder of Cudeca along with Marisa Martin, Medical Director, switched on the lights surrounding the entire Hospice centre in memory of those loved ones.
