{"id":14625,"date":"2016-12-16T11:33:22","date_gmt":"2016-12-16T11:33:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/actualidad\/cudeca-foundation-cancer-hospice-events-506\/"},"modified":"2016-12-16T11:33:22","modified_gmt":"2016-12-16T11:33:22","slug":"cudeca-foundation-cancer-hospice-events-506","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/en\/actualidad\/cudeca-foundation-cancer-hospice-events-506\/","title":{"rendered":"Cudeca Foundation, Cancer Hospice, Events"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"notCuerpo\">\n<div>Once again we celebrates our traditional Christmas <strong>\u201cLight a Light\u201d in memory of loved ones<\/strong>, on<strong>\u00a0Friday 16th December\u00a0<\/strong>from 6 p.m.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  During this celebration the <strong>traditional lighting of the lights that decorate our Centre<\/strong> in Benalm\u00e1dena will be carried out by the Founder &amp; Honorary President, <strong>Joan Hunt OBE<\/strong>; and the chief executive &amp; Medical Director, <strong>Marisa Mart\u00edn<\/strong> together with <strong>more than 200 charity candles<\/strong> of the volunteers, friends and employees.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  Also you will be able to enjoy at this uplifting occasion:<br \/>  <strong>\u00a0<\/strong>  <\/p>\n<div><strong>&#8211; A visit from Father Christmas<br \/>  &#8211; Face painting for the little ones<br \/>  &#8211; Christmas cake &amp; sweets<br \/>  &#8211; Pupils of Sunny View College Choir<br \/>  &#8211; \u201cCantando entre amigos\u201d Choir<br \/>  &#8211; Mr. Maph &amp; Simone Lisa with the Kingdom Fire Choir<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<br \/>  On this special evening, we will participate in <strong>charity\u00a0raffle, home made cakes, and other savoury delights<\/strong>. Further items will be on sale, e.g.: Cudeca\u2019s popular Christmas Cards, hand crafted by patients and volunteers, the 2017 \u201cSpecial 25\u00ba anniversary\u201d Calendars and the Christmas lottery tickets.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  <strong>If you wish to light a candle and write a dedication in memory of a loved one,<\/strong> you can do this through\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lightupcudeca.org\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>www.lightupcudeca.org<\/strong><\/a> for a minimum donation of \u20ac10 or at the Hospice Centre on the night of the event.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  The dedication will figure in the book \u201cLight a Light 2016\u201d that will be printed and displayed in the Cudeca Hospice.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  The Lights of the Centre are a personal tribute and will continue to shine until 6th January.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  Everyone is welcome to join us for this poignant evening.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  Your participation will help us to continue offering our\u00a0\u201cspecial kind of caring\u201d\u00a0to those who need it most.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><strong>Thanks to Coca Cola, Leslie Thompson &amp;
