{"id":14593,"date":"2016-05-30T11:27:10","date_gmt":"2016-05-30T11:27:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/actualidad\/cudeca-foundation-cancer-hospice-events-475\/"},"modified":"2016-05-30T11:27:10","modified_gmt":"2016-05-30T11:27:10","slug":"cudeca-foundation-cancer-hospice-events-475","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/en\/actualidad\/cudeca-foundation-cancer-hospice-events-475\/","title":{"rendered":"Cudeca Foundation, Cancer Hospice, Events"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"notCuerpo\">\n<div>Benalmadena 21st April 2016<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  Once again <strong>Maggie Woodward<\/strong> is undertaking an extraordinary task <strong>walking a part of \u201cCamino de Santiago\u201d<\/strong> donating the sponsorship funds raised to Cudeca Hospice and Save the Childrens.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  During the <strong>next 35 days<\/strong>, Maggie Woodward will walk the north coast of Spain, from the French border, following the Camino del\u00a0Norte from Irun to Ribadeo (625 kms), then she goes \u2018off camino\u2019 and continues to follow the coast for a further 200 kms until she reaches Ferrol and joins a different pilgrimage route, appropriately called the Ingles, for 120 kms into Santiago de Compostela.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  This is a stunningly beautiful hike with the coastline to the right and mountains to the left. On many occasions it trails across beaches, at other times it\u2019s necessary to take a ferry across a port or the mouth of a river. It passes through some really interesting towns and cities and the region as a whole is renowned for its fabulous food. There are a lot of ups and downs, particularly during the first week and it is considered one of the most strenuous caminos.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  If you want to know more information about this walk and to follow Maggie as she gets closer to the finish line, please enter into her blog <a href=\"https:\/\/magwood.me\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>www.magwood.me<\/strong><\/a>, like 160,000 people have already done.
