{"id":14527,"date":"2015-07-01T11:15:11","date_gmt":"2015-07-01T11:15:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/actualidad\/cudeca-foundation-cancer-hospice-events-414\/"},"modified":"2015-07-01T11:15:11","modified_gmt":"2015-07-01T11:15:11","slug":"cudeca-foundation-cancer-hospice-events-414","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/en\/actualidad\/cudeca-foundation-cancer-hospice-events-414\/","title":{"rendered":"Cudeca Foundation, Cancer Hospice, Events"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"notCuerpo\">\n<div>On <strong>Wednesday 1st July<\/strong>, the Cudeca Hospice will open their <strong>new Charity Shop in Malaga<\/strong>.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  It will take place at <strong>1pm<\/strong> in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.es\/maps\/place\/Plaza+Mar%C3%ADa+Guerrero,+6,+29012+M%C3%A1laga\/@36.7226819,-4.417334,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0xd72f7c0111503a9:0x718126bb51cd6bdd\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Plaza Mar\u00eda Guerrero, n\u00ba 6<\/strong><\/a> (next to Plaza de la Merced), the President of Cudeca Hospice, <strong>Ricardo Urdiales<\/strong> will be present, together with the Chief Executive and Medical Director, M<strong>arisa Mart\u00edn<\/strong>, and the Deputy Chief Executive-Financial, Communication and Fundraising Director, <strong>Rafael Olalla<\/strong>.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  The <strong>Cudeca Hospice Charity Shops<\/strong>, managed thanks to groups of volunteers, constitutes of the most important source of finance for the foundation.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  <strong>More than 550 volunteers <\/strong>help our Charity Shops each year receiving and classifying the donations of clothes, hand bags, accessories, shoes, household goods, books, children\u00b4s clothes and much more, they then put them up for sale at a special Charity price, that can then be reused for another person.<\/div>\n<div>  You can find a Cudeca Charity Shop in <strong>Alhaur\u00edn El Grande, \u00c1lora, Arroyo de la Miel, Co\u00edn, Estepona, Fuengirola, M\u00e1laga (Plaza Mar\u00eda Guerrero, calle Escultor Paco Palma in El Palo and calle Puerta Nueva), Marbella, Nerja, Torre del Mar and Torremolinos<\/strong>.<\/div>\n<div>  All of the income from the Charity Shops will be earmarked to cover the costs of the Assistential Programs of Cudeca Hospice, who each year assist more than 900 people with Cancer and other non-curable illnesses in an advanced stage as well as offering support to their families.
