{"id":14360,"date":"2013-04-28T10:48:17","date_gmt":"2013-04-28T10:48:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/actualidad\/cudeca-foundation-cancer-hospice-events-272\/"},"modified":"2013-04-28T10:48:17","modified_gmt":"2013-04-28T10:48:17","slug":"cudeca-foundation-cancer-hospice-events-272","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/en\/actualidad\/cudeca-foundation-cancer-hospice-events-272\/","title":{"rendered":"Cudeca Foundation, Cancer Hospice, Events"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"notCuerpo\">\n<div>  \tBenalm\u00e1dena, 9th April 2013  \t<\/p>\n<div>  \t\tThis annual event will take place on Sunday 28th April and will commence for those who wish to participate, this year with a choice of three sponsored walks finishing at the Alberdini Rural Hotel in Competa;<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>  \t\t\ta) 5 km around the village of Competa<\/li>\n<li>  \t\t\tb)\u00a0 4 hour walk around Cerro Atalaya, Canillias de Albaida with a difference in altitude of 500 metres.<\/li>\n<li>  \t\t\tc) 6 hour walk via Puerto Blanquillo, Cerro Verde and Cerro Atalaya, Canillas de Albaida with a difference in altitude of 630 metres.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>  \t\tThe first sponsored walk started in 2006 with a small group of friends but has grown year on year, and annual event has so far, raised over 24,000\u20ac for the Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice which provides a Special Kind of Caring to patients and their families within M\u00e1laga.<\/div>\n<div>  \t\t\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>  \tThe Alberdini Hotel will then host the remainder of the day from 11am; with lots of entertainment for both adults and children. There will be a dedicated children\u2019s activity area for children of all ages to include a tombola, non-alcoholic cocktail bar, cake decorating and face painting.\u00a0 In addition there will also be a Golf Putting Challenge, Wood Turning Demonstration, Darts Tournament, Tombola, Bric a Brac Stall, sealed auction bid for new unworn clothes and an antique doll, a chance to enjoy Reflexology, Reiki or a Back\/Neck massage and a delicious homemade cake stall.\u00a0 There will also be a huge paella, tapas and live music from Geoff Murrell.  \t<\/p>\n<div>  \t\t\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>  \t\tThis promises to be a fantastic day, so please come along and join us, have fun and at the same time, support your local Hospice.
