{"id":14290,"date":"2012-05-20T10:33:38","date_gmt":"2012-05-20T10:33:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/actualidad\/cudeca-foundation-cancer-hospice-events-217\/"},"modified":"2012-05-20T10:33:38","modified_gmt":"2012-05-20T10:33:38","slug":"cudeca-foundation-cancer-hospice-events-217","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/en\/actualidad\/cudeca-foundation-cancer-hospice-events-217\/","title":{"rendered":"Cudeca Foundation, Cancer Hospice, Events"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"notCuerpo\">\n<div>  \t<strong>Benalm\u00e1dena, 15th March 2012<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>  \tThis annual event will take place on Sunday 20th May and will commence with the annual 5 km sponsored walk, for those who wish to participate from around the village of Competa, finishing at the Alberdini Rural Hotel in Competa.<\/div>\n<div>  \t\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>  \tThe first sponsored walk started in 2006 with a small group of friends but has grown year on year, over 60 participating in 2011.\u00a0 One of the walkers Lily walked at 8 \u00be months pregnant and her \u00be is now Leyla, a bouncing 9 month old baby girl!!\u00a0 The annual event has so far, raised 19,600\u20ac for the Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice which provides care to advanced cancer sufferers and their families within the province of Malaga.<\/div>\n<div>  \t\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>  \tThe Alberdini Hotel will then host the remainder of the day from 11am; with lots of entertainment for both adults and children.\u00a0 The lower car park will be a Open Air General Market with something for everyone.\u00a0 The upper area will have a dedicated children\u2019s activity area to include face painting.\u00a0 In addition there will be a buffet terrace serving hot and cold food and also childrens food, along with live music and a raffle.<\/div>\n<div>  \tThis promises to be a fantastic day, so please come along and join us, have fun and at the same time, support your local Hospice.
