\tCudeca Cancer Care Hospice<\/strong> is very grateful to the Cl\u00ednica Buchinger <\/strong>for their initiative in organising an on-site charity concert <\/strong>on Sunday 29th August<\/strong> at 21:00 hrs, starring the baritone Marco Vassalli and pianist Stephan Lutermann with the objective of raising funds to help Cudeca continue to give life to days<\/strong>, totally free of charge.<\/div>\n
\t\u00a0<\/div>\n
\tMarco Vassalli and Stephan Lutermann will play pieces by: Franz Schubert, Vincenzo Bellini, Francesco Tosti, Richard Strauss, Ruggiero Leoncavallo, and WA Mozart.<\/div>\n
\t\u00a0<\/div>\n
\tOver the past 18 years, Cudeca has cared for more than 5,600 patients via its specialist care programs such as the Home Care Program, In-Patient Unit, Day Care Centre and many other multidisciplinary activities coordinated from the Hospice Centre in Benalm\u00e1dena.<\/div>\n
\t\u00a0<\/div>\n
\tFrom the In-Patient Unit, Cudeca attends to hundreds of people with advanced cancer every year, needing special intensive care 24 hours a day, and offers support to their families thanks to a professional team of physicians, psychologists, nurses and volunteers.<\/div>\n
\t\u00a0<\/div>\n
\tThe proceeds raised from this charity concert <\/strong>will go towards helping to save the In-Patient Unit <\/strong>from its worrying financial situation and prevent the possibility of its closure by the end of year.<\/div>\n
\t\u00a0<\/div>\n
\tThe friendship and collaboration of the Cl\u00ednica Buchinger<\/strong> along with the community who are loyal to the cause, are giving life to the days of patients and families attended to by the Hospice this year, and we sincerely hope we can continue to help all those who need us in the future.<\/div>\n
