Born in Quivic\u00e1n, Cuba, Chucho Vald\u00e9s is widely regarded as one of the world\u2019s greatest pianists. To date, his extraordinary career has been recognised with eight Grammy Awards, comprising five Grammy Awards and three Latin Grammys.<\/p>\n

Chucho has been a dedicated and constant supporter of the Cudeca Foundation since 2007, when he performed as a guest artist at the very first benefit concert held by his father, the legendary Bebo Vald\u00e9s. Since then, Chucho has generously and altruistically donated his music on countless occasions in support of our “Special Kind of Caring.”<\/p>\n
