Cudeca Cancer Care was present at the Málaga Rotary Club “Huella” awards last night thanks to the all the guests wearing our sunflowers pins - the symbol of Palliative Care.
The “Huella” (footprints) award is a prestigious award given by the Rotary Club of Malaga to people and institutions whose work has made an indelible imprint on the Society of Málaga.
This year the Málaga born actor Antonio Banderas, who wore a Cudeca sunflower pin on his jacket, received an award from Baroness Thyssen - a beautiful bronze statue sculpted by Virgil Malaga.
The event was attended by: Francisco de la Torre, Mayor of Malaga, Javier Banderas, the brother of Antonio Banderas, along with the winners of the night, who all wore the Cudeca sunflower pin.
We thank Antonio Banderas for his unconditional support, helping Cudeca to continue offering the Special Kind of Caring to people with advanced non-curable cancer and support to their families.
