On 12th January, the council of Social Services and Equality of the Fuengirola Town Hall, Francisco José Martín and Maria Luz Bridge, respectively, presented a cheque for 1.534,74€ to Rocio Torres, Manager of Communications and Fundraising at Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice for the charity walk in memory of Isabel Guillén.

 

The walk, which took place on the 3rd December, commenced at the Roman Monument in Los Boliches and ended at the new Riverside Park (El Castillo) where participants enjoyed live music by the group “Sonido International”, a magician's show and a super raffle.

The funds raised from this event will be put towards the Hospice and its care programs, where more than 700 people with advanced cancer and their families are treated each year, completely free of charge.

 

Cudeca wholeheartedly thanks Mercedes Guillen, and her family for all the support given, the Fuengirola Town Hall, all the entertainers, the mountain club Almoradu, and all the participants and caring individuals who donated raffle prizes.

Together we can continue to add life to days to those who need it most.
