Benalmádena, 2nd November 2011
On Wednesday 2nd November, a press conference was held to present the logo design competition to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice, which took place in the training room of the Hospice Centre located in Benalmádena.
This initiative behind this competition came from when the University of Malaga visited the Cudeca Centre last year. The event was attended, by representatives from the University of Málaga, Manuel Hijaz del Río, Chief Secretary for Social Action of the UMA, Marisa Garfia Almarza, Volunteer Social Worker of the UMA, and on behalf of Cudeca: Marisa Martin Roselló, CEO and Medical Director and Inmaculada Ruiz, Coordinator of the Cudeca Volunteering Program.
The aim of this competition is to invite all students studying different university degrees to enter the design "Cudeca’s 20th Anniversary Logo" and create a distinctive logo that will represent the Hospice Centre during 2012.
The competition is targeted at students enrolled at the University of Málaga in the academic year 2011/12. Each contestant may submit up to three designs identified by a theme and the work will be sent to the Cudeca Hospice. The deadline for submission is 24th November and must be sent in envelopes with no return address, specifying "Cudeca’s 20th Anniversary Logo Design Competition." on the envelope. The prize will be the use of the design for Cudeca’s 20th anniversary next year and recognition of the logo on all internal publications.
