Ian Scorgie, a loyal Cudeca supporter, organised a prize draw in aid of Cudeca with the objective of raising as many funds as possible for the Hospice to continue providing the Special Kind of Caring to patients suffering from advanced cancer and support to the family.
The prize for the lucky winner was a trip for two to Scotland, including a 5 night’s stay at the beautiful Spittal of Glenshee hotel in Perthshire and various day trips including a visit to Loch Ness and some of the finer whiskey wineries.
The draw was held at the Hospice Centre and Joan Hunt, O.B.E, President and Founder, was invited to pick out the winning ticket which belonged to Patrick and Jane McVey from Scotland, who happened to be on the Costa del Sol for a holiday!
Cudeca is sincerely grateful to Ian, the Spittal of Glenshee Hotel and all the Cudeca supporters who purchased a ticket and helped to raise a grand total of 765€, which will enable the Hospice to continue Giving Life to Days to those who need it most.
