VI Charity Book Market in aid of Cudeca

The Municipal Library of Arroyo de la Miel held its 6th Charity Book Market in aid of Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice on Saturday 12th May. This charity event has taken place for the past two years on the doorstep of the Library itself and managed attract many different nationalities thanks to the wide range of books available.
Thanks to everyone involved, the amount of 903,98€ was raised from this book market, which added to the 435,52€ raised at the weekly charity events held by the Library, a fantastic total of 1.339,50€ was donated to the Hospice. These funds will enable Cudeca to continue caring for over 750 people each year suffering from advanced non-curable cancer, apart from providing support to their families, completely free of charge.
The friendship and collaboration of the Arroyo de la Miel Library, is vital for Cudeca to continue Giving Life to Days to those who need us now and in the future.
