Cudeca´s support for patients and their families
Cudeca Hospice helps patients to live their lives, regardless of the time that they have left. It ensures that the patient´s needs are attended to according to their wishes. Cudeca Hospice also supports and cares for their family and friends, both during the illness and after death.
Your support for Cudeca Hospice can live on through a legacy
Help is desperately needed to continue this important special care. A small part of your legacy would be of incalculable value to Cudeca Hospice and would allow plans to continue for the future care of patients suffering from terminal cancer . The hospice staff will be very proud to know that their work is sufficiently important for you to wish to include a small tribute to the endurance of their care in your will.
Why it is important for you to make a will
Is the future of persons or causes a concern to you? Would you like to be sure what will happen to all that you hold dear and have worked for when you are no longer here? If your reply is YES, then it is really important for you to have an up-to-date will.
The legacy that you plan to leave after your death is an opportunity to make a decision. It gives you the opportunity to state what you consider to be important. Whatever assets you own, your will allows you to choose; to keep control of your affairs; to decide who you wish your beneficiares to be; to be assured that your final wishes will be carried out.
When you draw up a will, you will feel reassured that you have done everything possible to care for those persons whom you love, it will give you the opportunity to continue supporting causes that you believe in. However, to ensure your wishes are carried ouit, it is vital that these are accurately recorded in your will. The number of people who do not draw up a will is approximately thirty percent. These persons are renouncing their power of decision and the possibility of improving the society in which they have lived. Death does not have to put an end to all your efforts. A bequest is a way of ensuring that your assets are not taken by the taxation authorities, but that they may be donated as a gift to your family, your friends, or to a charitable cause – whatever you desire.
Help in making a will
Without legacies from friends and supporters, Cudeca Hospice could not have progressed as far as it has. Please consider the possibility of including the hospice in your will so that it may continue to offer “a special kind of caring”
Should you select Cudeca as a beneficiary in your will, neither your heirs nor the charity will have to pay taxation on the amount as Cudeca is an NGO Foundation. In addition, Cudeca have access to legal professionals who will provide free assistance to enable you to draw up your will.
If you would like to include a bequest to help Cudeca in your will, please contact the Finacial Director, Rafa Ollala, either by telephoning the Hospice on 952 564 910 or by completing this contact form.
