Cudeca provides advice and support if you have just discovered you have cancer - and have bi-lingual staff who can help you in English and Spanish.
Counselling is also available in Cudeca for people who want general information about cancer or concerning treatments and possible reactions to them, no matter what stage of the illness. The counsellors provide information which can help with making decisions, also assist with problems experienced after bereavement.
If you feel that your issues would benefit from a more in-depth discussion, then talking to a trained counsellor may be beneficial and help you feel less isolated.
Although it is not possible to change your situation, counselling may enable you to develop ways to help you cope.
Counselling services are available for any patient, or family member or carer, face to face, over the telephone or via e-mail.
